The Prince Dynamic Quality AssuranceSM program for feed safety is five-fold:
- Education of our employees, suppliers, and customers.
- Process Reviews to identify potential quality issues, contaminants and points of contamination.
- Ongoing Analysis to confirm effective implementation of established controls.
- Identification of Unknown Hazards to insure continuous product integrity.
- Adaptability through continuous improvement to meet ever-changing feed safety issues.

Prince DQASM, for Trace Minerals, includes analysis of the three-Cs:
- Content
- Elemental content variations and potential carryover in mixing systems
- Characteristics
- Physical characteristics including particle size, shape, density and distribution impacting segregation,
flow-ability and mix-ability
- Contaminants (organic and inorganic)
- Heavy metals, dioxins, furans, PCBs, feed additives, industrial waste
- Pesticides
- There are no pesticides used in Prince facilities
- Products that may be classified as such are segregated
- Each Prince facility has a sanitation procedure
- Medicated Feed Additives
- Prince does not handle such additives in production at facilities
- BSE
- Restricted use proteins are not handled in Prince facilities and a policy agreement addresses
this issue with suppliers
- Mycotoxins and Pathogenic Enteric Microbes
- Minimal impact or likelihood on products handled

Dynamic Quality AssuranceSM discovers the Known and Unknown Hazards
Prince monitors for all known hazards and continuously attempts to identify unknown hazards. This process is based on years of industry experience and extensive analytical screenings. Any product quality issue, or alert, is immediately investigated.
Should an unknown hazard be discovered, the reactive process includes verification – containment –
resolution – customer notification – creation of new specifications – and finally, reintroduction of
materials into the production system.

Through Dynamic Quality AssuranceSM Prince Agri Products has earned the AFIA Safe Feed/Safe Food
certification. This program was created in 2004 to demonstrate and ensure continuous improvement in
the production and delivery of a safe and quality feed supply for the growth and care of food producing animals.
